Defentry has two new colleagues this autumn. Marcus Surtén joins as Head of Sales and Soroush Pourhadi as Product Manager. If you are a partner, or thinking of becoming one, these are two of the people you will meet. Our partners offer Defentry's identity protection to their own customers under their own brand, and getting that right takes two things: understanding each partner's business, and building a product their customers actually use. Marcus and Soroush cover one each.
Marcus Surtén, Head of Sales
Marcus leads Defentry's work with new and existing partners, from the first conversation to launch. He brings a background in B2B sales, business development and commercial leadership across digital businesses in Nordic and international markets.
“What drew me to Defentry was the opportunity to create meaningful value for people in their increasingly digital lives. Helping businesses take greater responsibility for their customers' digital safety, while strengthening their value proposition and building customer loyalty, is a combination I find compelling.
I'm looking forward to getting to know our clients and strengthening our partnerships. Over the coming year, I want to help more companies prioritise digital safety as a competitive advantage that creates meaningful value and builds lasting trust with their customers.”
Soroush Pourhadi, Product Manager
Soroush owns what Defentry builds next and how it reaches partners and their users. His background is in product management where software meets complex operations, and his focus is turning intricate problems into products people actually use
“I want to work on things that genuinely make a difference, both for the company and for the people using the product. In the small but growing team here at Defentry, every decision you make actually matters, and that's exactly the challenge I was looking for.
I'm looking forward to building a product that helps people in one of the most stressful situations they can end up in, and being part of scaling Defentry across the Nordics and beyond. I hope to bring clear structure to how we build product while working closely with our clients, so we can spend our time creating real value.”
What this means for partners
- A named commercial contact who knows your market and your launch plan.
- A product manager who turns what you and your customers tell us into actionable insights.
- The same team behind both, ensuring commercial commitments and product development stay closely aligned
