About Defentry

Defentry is a cyber security SaaS company offering a technology platform with a full comprehensive cyber safety suite straight out of the box. The cyber safety suite is fully aimed at identifying, preventing and protecting against identity theft and any effects following an identity theft. A crime that impacts many of us. Research by Novus shows that 4 of 10 Swedes were the subject of an attempt at identity theft or fraud last year.

We offer our platform to insurance companies, security companies and similar industries who can package our platform into their customer offer. To increase their revenue and improve the cyber security for their customers.

Defentry has already passed 100 000 users on our platform and we are now progressing into the next phase of rapid growth. Our main partners are in verticals such as insurance, financial services and utilities. Scandinavia and Finland are our home markets but we aim to expand geographically across Europe next.

We now strengthen our team with two SDR’s (Sales Development Representatives)

As a vital step in building our internal capabilities and driving our growth journey, Defentry will expand our team with two SDR positions. This is our first step in building an internal SDR function and as the first person with the position in the company. You will have a high impact role and very good opportunity to shape the role and our work methods going forward.

The SDR function is organized under our Marketing function. Your task is to feed our Sales department with high quality sales meetings. You will achieve this by prospecting the market for potential partners together with Defentry’s Head of Marketing. Then develop communication tailored for them. And finally use all available methods to make initial contact and communicate how we can solve their problems with the aim of achieving a sales meeting.

Together we will develop the right KPI’s to measure the process. And you will have a key role in continuously testing new methods and finding improvements in our workflow to ensure maximum success and growth.

Your qualifications

For this role your personal qualities and your drive is more important than your experience, although relevant experience from SDR positions or similar will have merit to ensure a quick startup time for this new function at Defentry.

You are socially skilled and you love to contact and get to know new people. This job is all about identifying individuals who could make use of our product and contacting them through primarily phone, Linkedin and e-mail.

You find it easy to communicate with different types of people and with high seniority.You can easily build mutual trust and respect with your contacts.

You are genuinely interested in understanding your customers reality and how you can help them solve their problems. You can communicate our offer in a correct and engaging manner, and adapt your communication depending on the customer and their needs.

You like to work towards clear objectives and you enjoy finding your own path towards achieving them. But you can also work structured and methodically to ensure we pick up on all opportunities and keep our tasks in order.

You have a pragmatic view on work processes. You follow them, but you don’t take anything for granted. You love to improve. You challenge processes and people around you whenever you identify things we can do better.

You are fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages.

The role is based in our Stockholm office but as this is a new position, you will develop the work methods together with your manager. You will report to our Head of Marketing.

You will get a competitive fixed salary with the opportunity of earning an additional commission based on fulfillment of your objectives. As with all employees at Defentry you will also be granted stock options.
