Defentry buys database, gains larger access to leaked data

Defentry's platform is one of the largest databases of leaked information and a vital source to detect and warn about future data breaches online.

Since the acquisition, Defentry has further developed its platform, and is now offering its technology to security companies. The technology, which lays ground to the value offer, is leading when it comes to data surveillance and preventing online fraud, ID theft and hacked accounts.

The company Defentry AB was first bought from Dan Egerstad and Adam Ljungrell, who are the current owners of Bemaze Group AB. The acquisition of its database, which laid ground to the company, was therefore a logical next action.

"We are happy that the platform and database, with its big data and leading technology, is now a part of our product, and not only a part of the supply chain. The possibilities and future looks promising." said Farid Lalami, co-founder of Defentry.
